Cookie Policy

Effective Date: July 7, 2026Last Updated: July 7, 2026Version 1.0

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or other internet-connected device) when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website operators to make their websites function, or to function more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the website operator (in this case, Saxalit) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website operator are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website, such as advertising, interactive content, and analytics.

Cookies can remain on your computer or mobile device for different periods of time. Some cookies are "session cookies," meaning they exist only while your browser is open and are deleted automatically once you close your browser. Other cookies are "persistent cookies," meaning they survive after your browser is closed and can be used by the website to recognize your computer when you reopen your browser.

2. Cookies We Use

Saxalit uses a minimal number of cookies. We use only the cookies strictly necessary to operate the Service. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes.

Cookie NameTypePurpose

next-auth.session-token

Maintains your authenticated session. Set by NextAuth.js, our authentication provider. Contains an encrypted session token and does not store personal information in readable form. Without this cookie, you cannot remain signed in to the Service.

next-auth.csrf-token

Session

Strictly Necessary

Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection token set by NextAuth.js during the authentication flow. Required to protect your account during sign-in. Deleted when you close your browser.

next-auth.callback-url

Session

Strictly Necessary

Stores the URL to redirect you to after successful authentication. Set by NextAuth.js during sign-in. Deleted when you close your browser.

The cookies described above are set by Saxalit directly. We do not set third-party cookies. These cookies are classified as "strictly necessary" because without them the Service cannot function. As a result, they cannot be disabled without preventing you from using the authenticated portions of the Service.

3. What We Do Not Use

Saxalit does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies for any of the following purposes:

  • Advertising or targeted marketing
  • Third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics)
  • Cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling
  • Social media tracking pixels
  • Retargeting or remarketing campaigns

We do not share cookie data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Our commitment to privacy extends to our own data collection practices.

4. Managing and Controlling Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

However, please note that if you disable or refuse cookies, some portions of the Service may become inaccessible or not function properly. Specifically, disabling the session cookie described above will prevent you from signing in to and using the authenticated features of the Service.

The method for managing cookies varies by browser. Please refer to the documentation or help section of your specific browser for instructions:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data

For mobile devices, cookie management options are typically found in your device's browser settings or privacy settings menu.

5. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when we make changes.

We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.

If we introduce new categories of cookies (such as analytics or advertising cookies), we will update this Policy and provide you with appropriate notice and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent before placing such cookies.
