Subscription & Billing Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2026Version 1.0

1. Overview

This Subscription & Billing Policy ("Billing Policy") governs the financial terms of your use of SaxaLit ("the Service"). This Billing Policy is part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

2. Plans

2.1 Free Plan

The Service offers a free plan that includes removal guidance for up to five (5) data brokers at no cost. No payment information is required to use the Free Plan. The Company reserves the right to modify the number of free broker removals or the features included in the Free Plan at any time.

2.2 Pro Plan

The Pro Plan provides access to all data brokers listed in the Service, additional features, and priority support. The Pro Plan requires a paid monthly subscription.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to the Pro Plan, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. SaxaLit does not store your full payment card details. Card information is transmitted directly to and held by Stripe in accordance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards.

4. Billing Cycle

Pro Plan subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Your billing cycle begins on the date you subscribe and renews on the same date each month. By subscribing, you authorize the Company to charge your selected payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.

5. Upgrading from Free to Pro

When you have used removal guidance for five (5) data brokers on the Free Plan, you will be prompted to subscribe to the Pro Plan to continue accessing additional brokers. No payment card is required during the free usage period.

6. Pricing Changes

The Company reserves the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. If we change the price of the Pro Plan:

  • We will notify you at least 30 days before the new price takes effect.
  • The price change will apply at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
  • If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro Plan subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active through the end of the current paid billing period.
  • You retain full access to all Pro features until the billing period expires.
  • After expiration, your account reverts to the Free Plan.
  • No partial or prorated refund is issued for the remaining days in the billing period.

8. Refund Policy

All subscription payments are non-refundable. The Company does not issue refunds for:

  • Partial billing periods.
  • Unused features or time remaining in a billing cycle.
  • Dissatisfaction with data broker removal outcomes (which are outside the Company's control).
  • Voluntary cancellation.

If required by applicable law, refunds will be provided in accordance with that law.

9. Failed Payments

If a scheduled subscription payment fails, the Company will automatically retry the charge up to three (3) times. If all retry attempts fail:

  • Your account access will be suspended.
  • You will be notified by email that your payment has failed and access has been suspended.
  • Your account data will be retained during suspension.
  • To restore access, you must update your payment method and successfully complete a payment.

The Company is not responsible for any disruption to your use of the Service caused by payment failures.

10. Taxes

Subscription prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies imposed by your jurisdiction in connection with your subscription. Tax handling is subject to the requirements of your jurisdiction and may be updated as the Company's tax obligations are determined.

11. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The payment method associated with your account is valid and authorized for use.
  • You do not use stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorized payment methods.
  • You do not initiate chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts associated with fraudulent payment activity.

12. Changes to This Billing Policy

The Company reserves the right to modify this Billing Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Billing Policy.
