Acceptable Use Policy
1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of SaxaLit ("the Service") and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- •Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
- •Provide false identity information, impersonate another person, or create accounts under false pretenses.
- •Submit frivolous, fraudulent, or bad-faith removal requests or appeals to data brokers. Misuse of appeal letter templates to harass, threaten, or deceive data brokers or their personnel.
- •Use the Service to harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any individual or organization, including data broker employees.
- •Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or features you are not authorized to use. Circumvent security controls, authentication mechanisms, or access restrictions.
- •Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure, servers, or networks. Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- •Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools to access the Service without prior written permission.
- •Use the Service to send unsolicited communications. Exploit the Service's email features for purposes unrelated to data broker removal.
- •Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the Service. Use the Service to provide data broker removal services to third parties for compensation without the Company's written consent.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- •All activity that occurs under your account.
- •The accuracy of information you provide to data brokers through the Service.
- •Complying with data brokers' own terms and procedures when submitting removal requests.
- •Using appeal letters in good faith and only for their intended purpose.
4. Reporting Violations
If you believe another user is violating this AUP, report it through our contact page. We will investigate reports at our discretion and are not obligated to disclose the outcome of any investigation.
5. Enforcement
The Company may take the following actions in response to AUP violations, at our sole discretion:
- •Issue a warning.
- •Temporarily restrict access to specific features.
- •Suspend your account.
- •Permanently terminate your account.
The Company is not obligated to monitor all user activity but reserves the right to do so. We may act on violations identified through user reports, automated detection, or manual review.
6. Changes
The Company may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
